A simple step-by-step guide for plugins, addons, and CloudStream extensions.
Installation Steps
Download the Nuvio App
Install the Nuvio application on your device. Visit our Download Page to get the latest version for Android or iOS.
Open Nuvio & Go to Settings
Launch the app and navigate to the Settings or Plugins section from the main menu.
Copy a Plugin URL from This Site
Browse the Plugin Library, find a plugin you want, and click the Copy button — the URL is now in your clipboard.

In Nuvio, tap Add Repository or Install Plugin, paste the copied URL, and confirm.
Enable the Plugin
After installation, make sure the plugin is enabled in settings. Some plugins may need a quick restart of the app to start working.
Start Streaming!
Go back to the Nuvio home screen, search for any movie or show — the plugin's sources will appear automatically.
Pro Tip
Install 2–3 plugins for better source coverage. Plugins with the Official badge are community-verified and maintained for your language.
Troubleshooting
Plugin won't install
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure you copied the full URL
- Update Nuvio to the latest version
- Restart the app and try again
No sources showing
- Confirm the plugin is enabled
- Wait a few seconds for loading
- Try clearing app cache
- Restart Nuvio
Slow performance
- Disable unused plugins
- Clear cache in settings
- Close background apps
- Check your internet speed
What are Stremio Addons?
Stremio addons are independent streaming sources that work on both Stremio and Nuvio. They run externally and are accessed via a configure/install URL.

Browse the Addons Page
Visit our Addons Page to see curated top addons like Pengu, Torrentio, Plavio HD, and AIOMetadata.
Click "Configure & Install"
Each addon card has a Configure & Install button that opens the addon's official configuration page in your browser.
Configure the Addon (Optional)
Some addons let you customize settings like quality, debrid service (Real-Debrid, AllDebrid), or region before installing.

After configuration, the page shows a manifest URL. Copy it — it usually ends with /manifest.json.
Install in Nuvio or Stremio
Open Nuvio (or Stremio), go to Addons Settings, paste the URL, and install. The addon sources will appear when you search for content.

Get a repo URL from cloudstreamrepo.com
Visit cloudstreamrepo.com, find the extension repository you want, then click the Direct Install URL or Copy button to copy the repository link.

From the Nuvio sidebar, select Settings (gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar).
Go to Content & Discovery → Plugins
Inside Settings, tap Content & Discovery, then choose Plugins — the same page used for all Nuvio plugin repositories.
Paste the URL and tap "+ Add"
In the Add repository field, paste the CloudStream repo URL you copied, then tap + Add. The repository loads instantly.
One page for everything
Whether you're adding a Nuvio plugin repo or a CloudStream extension repo — it all goes into the same Plugins → Add repository field. The only difference is the URL source.
Use Trusted Repositories
Only install extensions from well-known, community-verified repositories like those listed on cloudstreamrepo.com. Avoid URLs from unverified sources.
